The Main Gate
The upper part of the hall has six-stepped intermediate bracket complexes, the first of its kind in the history of Japanese architecture, and the lower part has four-stepped intermediate bracket complexes. It is 51.5 meters high, 67.9 meters wide, and 58.2 meters long, comparable to an 18-story building. It is taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Arch of Triumph in Paris.
