Information for Visitors

The Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism, Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji Head Temple, has restarted the weekend guided tour for visitors since October 1, 2022.

Saturday and Sunday only
① Starting at 10:30 a.m. (2 hours Tour Course)
② Starting at 11:30 a.m. (3.5 hours Tour Course)
③ Starting at 12:30 a.m. (2 hours Tour Course)
The above 3 courses are available for Saturday and Sunday visits.

Please send us your application form.
Your reservation will be processed in order.

Please send it at least one week before the intended date of your visit. 

Please note that we ask you to book in advance so as not to disturb the neighbors with too many cars or people visiting at a time. No admission fee is collected as this temple is not a tourist facility. 

Please note that if we are unable to confirm your booking in advance, we may decline your visit.

【 Notes for the visitors 】
[ For the preservation of the environment, please observe the following. ]

 ○Please do not bring in food or drinks in order to keep the temple and its precincts clean and to prevent damages or injuries by birds and animals.
 ○Please refrain from smoking anywhere in the precincts for the prevention of fire.
 ○Please refrain from visiting the temple after drinking alcohol.
 ○Please refrain from taking photos inside the halls.
 ○Please come prepared with walking shoes or non-slippery shoes. There is much walking on the stone pavement and stone steps.
 ○Please refrain from entering any places unguided.
 ○Please do not leave any trash behind.
 ○Flying drones within the temple precincts is prohibited in principle due to the possibility of causing damage to visitors, nearby residents, buildings, etc.
