Practice based on the teachings of Lord Buddha


The Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism, Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji Head Temple, was constructed in Japan as the spiritual base for all Buddhists in the world in order to propagate Buddhism in the modern world of the Last Dharma and realize the ideals of Lord Buddha for world peace and serenity for humanity. Since then, Buddhism has been spreading step by step in the world. This page introduces foreign visitors to the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism from various countries around the world, as part of the reports on the propagation activities.

This temple enshrines the holy relics of H.H. the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand and of the supreme Buddhist leaders of the world as well as the royal relics of H.M. King Father Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia.

His Late Holiness was a high priest who attended and supported Buddhist Summit over the years for the propagation of Buddhism throughout the world. Honorary Posts for T.R.H. the Princesses of Cambodia

T.R.H. Princess Norodom Marie and Princess Norodom Rattana Devi of Cambodia visited the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism, Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji Head Temple, in April 2012 and were deeply impressed by the noble principle of Nenbutsushu for the propagation of Buddhism to the whole world. Thus, Their Royal Highnesses willingly assumed the posts of the Supreme Honorary Advisors to Female Followers and to Youth Followers of Nenbutsushu, respectively, on May 3, 2012.

From May 16 to May 22, H.M. King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia visited Japan as the state guest at the invitation of T.M. the Emperor and Empress of Japan. After the audience with Their Majesties, H.M. the King of Cambodia and his entourage stayed at the Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji Head Temple from May 20 to 22, at the strong wish of His Majesty.

The Special Exposition of the Most Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha, the Precious Treasure of Sri Lanka

Under the auspices of the government of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lankan Embassy in Japan, the Special Exposition of the Most Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha from Sri Lanka was held from September 5 till September 10, 2009 at the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism, the spiritual base for all Buddhists in the world. One of the most sacred relics of Lord Buddha was dedicated to the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism by H.E. the Presidential Envoy of Sri Lanka.
